For routine care, gently air out your silk-filled duvet under partial sun to remove moisture and maintain its freshness. Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight, as this can weaken the silk fibers.

For deeper cleaning, we recommend taking your duvet to a professional dry cleaner and informing them that it is silk-filled to ensure proper handling.

Using a duvet cover with your silk-filled duvet insert is highly recommended. This helps protect the duvet from dirt and stains, extending its lifespan and reducing the need for frequent cleaning.

For spot cleaning, use cold water and a gentle, bleach-free soap to treat stubborn stains. 

If your silk-filled duvet is thin and made with specially processed silk fibers, such as our Double Cocoon Mulberry Silk-filled Quilt, it may be machine washed on a gentle cycle with cold water. However, avoid using bleach, fabric softeners, or detergents containing bleach, as these can compromise the fiber structure and reduce the longevity of the product.
